Hi! My boyfriend and I have been talking about rings and what cuts we love. I recently discovered the elongated cushion cut and would love to see some pictures/reviews from those who have it! I was leaning towards a split shank band and wanted to know if it would look pretty with the cushion cut. I recently received an offer to study medicine at Dundee, which I'm very happy about! However, it was not always my first choice - it was UCL which I didn't apply to - and considering the fact that I live quite far and will have to move out of London to Dundee, I was wondering if anyone could who has gone to Dundee for medicine or even moved there from elsewhere could share their experience. I'm torn between firming it and moving to Dundee or taking a gap year and reapplying to unis in London. My UCAT really messed me up this year, so I was really shocked at the offer! But at the same time, I was wondering if it would be worth it to take a gap year and stay in London since I'm not so keen on moving. I can't really get student accommodation there since my parents dont want me to live so far alone! For y'all learning to thin and refinish, do yourselves a favor and test on food because even visually similar finishes cut very differently. Top (burnished sandpaper before compound) halves a cabbage with no resistance and bottom (fresh sandpaper before compound) literally squeaks.
